Aluminum salts are found in all antiperspirant deodorants as they are the only FDA-approved ingredient that stops sweat by temporarily blocking your pores. They can also be found in cosmetics as pigments and thickening agents. While this compound is regulated and sanctioned by the government, research shows that aluminum salts can accumulate in breast tissue over time. Though no direct link with breast cancer has been found, it is best to minimize aluminum exposure out of an abundance of caution.
