Herbs + Spices that Boost Metabolism
Herbs and spices have been used for thousands of years in ancient forms of medicine to help balance the body, mind, and spirit, and to prevent and treat various health conditions. Functional medicine also uses this approach to address various aspects of health, from digestion, immunity, and blood sugar regulation, to overall hormone balance.
To support a healthy metabolism, our holistic nutritionist Sonali Misti recommends incorporating herbs and spices into your diet. While the effects on metabolism shouldnt be considered medicinal strength, incorporating these herbs and spices into your meals can still be beneficial.
